Mission

The mission of Nashville Pride is to foster a sense of pride, community, and awareness of, about, and for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) people and culture through education and outreach to the GLBT community and the community at large.

Vision

	Nashville Pride will be the largest and most successful cultural celebration in the Nashville region.
	Nashville Pride will be the largest and most successful celebration of GLBT pride and culture in the Mid-South, and largest in the nation among cities the size of Nashville and smaller.
	Nashville Pride will continue to attract national and local corporate sponsorships.
	Nashville Pride will attract visitors to the greater Nashville area who will spend money in local hotels, restaurants, and other local businesses.
	Nashville Pride will create an economic impact on Nashville that will, in turn, provide support from all facets of the economy and population.
	Nashville Pride will provide the GLBT people of our region a day where they can celebrate who they are, have pride in their communities, and display their diversity and creativity to the entire population of Nashville.
	Nashville Pride will raise enough money to cover expenses, as well as produce money for ongoing operations.
	Create a scholarship program.
	Utilize outreach efforts to serve/engage all aspects of the GLBT community.
