Nashville Pride Festival Code of Conduct

Nashville Pride is a welcoming place to come together with friends, family, and loved ones to celebrate the progress of the LGBTQ+ community. Our code of conduct is designed to ensure the parade and festival are safe and accepting spaces for everyone and that everyone is treated with courtesy and respect.

1. Nashville Pride is a celebration recognizing the past struggles and future possibilities of the LGBTQ+ community. All participants in the parade and festival are expected to embrace and respect this.

2. Nashville Pride is a safe space and will not tolerate any threatening, violent, harassing, or offensive behavior against its volunteers, staff, artists, performers, festival goers, parade participants, security personnel or members of the public.

3. Nashville Pride celebrates diversity and will not tolerate any individual making derogatory remarks about a person's age, race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, size, wardrobe, physical ability, economic status, and/or religion.

Does it cost to get into the festival?

Yes, each day is just $5.00 at the gate.  You can also purchase VIP tickets in advance.

Why is there a cost to get into the festival?

Nashville Pride is a not for profit charity and charges just $5 per day to get into the festival. The Pride Parade is free to attend and kicks off the Festival on the morning of Saturday June 22nd. The admission cost along with sponsors and vendors help cover the cost to produce the festival each year.

How do I get tickets?

If you are interested in purchasing tickets in advance, you can do that from this website. 

Is this a family friendly event?

Yes, the Nashville Pride Festival is a family friendly event and all are welcome to attend.  We have a kids area and youth area in the festival grounds. 

Are children free?

Ages 10 and under are free.

What should I not bring to the festival?

  • No outside alcohol

  • Guns, Knives, Tasers, or Weapons of any kind

  • Fireworks

  • Glass items

  • Drones

  • Grills

  • Tents

  • Noise makers

Please be aware that all bags, coolers, backpacks, etc., will be subject to search.

What can I bring into the festival?

  • Blankets

  • Lawn chairs

  • Coolers (no alcohol or glass containers, will be searched at the gate)

  • Water, Water, Water. Unopened or empty refillable water bottles are encouraged. We will have water refill stations throughout the festival grounds.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, but please make sure to clean up after them and ensure you have a plan for the heat.  

What about my outfit?

We are sure your outfit is awesome. We ask that you please don't show your parts, and be respectful. Nashville Pride is a family-friendly festival. 

What about Parking?

Please note the Nissan Stadium lots are closed on Saturday for an event.

We highly recommend using a ride share option.  Lyft pick up and drop off is located at 3rd and James Robertson Parkway.  See the link below for additional drop off and pick up locations.

Can I request a media pass? 

Yes. Media passes will be granted on a first come-first served basis only after the requesting organization emails media@nashvillepride.org with contact information, media outlet, website and pitch.  Applications will be accepted by email until 4pm on Thursday, June 23rd.
