Thank you for being a part of the 2025 Nashville Pride Parade.

Nashville Pride Parade 

Step off at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 28 (8th Ave S and Broadway)

Line up/Set up Times

8:45 AM    Floats (marchers next to floats can show up at times listed below)

9:00 AM    Vehicles/Buses/Trolleys (marchers can show up at times listed below)

9:15-9:45 AM    Marchers (groups and individuals marching next to vehicles and/or floats)

FULL LIST OF RULES AND REGS

  • Floats/vehicles one representative from each group must check-in at 12th Ave S and Broadway

  • All Floats/vehicles must enter at 12th Ave S and Broadway EXCEPT those staged on 9th Ave - these are to enter at Demonbreun/9th Ave.

  • Marchers - One representative from each group must check-in at either 12th Ave S and Broadway or 8th Ave S and Broadway.

  • No vehicles will be allowed to line up after 9:15 AM.

  • Marchers may enter from any direction.

  • Stall numbers will be marked on the sidewalk with white tape.

  • Keep the center aisle/turning lane clear.

  • Stay in your stall until a parade marshal tells your group to move to the center aisle.

Be Prepared

  • No alcohol permitted.

  • Port-o-potties will be available close to the line up area.

  • Expect the parade to last 2.5 hours from the 10:00 am kick off time (come prepared)

  • Apparel: Tennessee law requires that all your parts (front and back) are covered

Safety First

  • Pay attention to the parade marshal and staff at all times

  • Water guns, water balloons and silly string are prohibited

  • Participants shall not throw candy or other items to spectators. 

  • Candy or other items may be distributed to spectators by hand from parade participants

Floats

  • All floats must enter at 12th Ave S and Broadway.

  • Turn off engines in staging area

  • Parade speed: 3 MPH

  • Remain seated on the float at all times. No jumping on or off the float during parade 

  • No sitting with legs off of the trailer or over the fender wheels

  • There must be some type of communication between driver and riders on float and group’s marchers (phone, walkie talkies etc) 

  • If the float breaks down, try to pull off to the right side of the road and alert a staff or police officer.  The parade will continue and move around the breakdown.

During Parade

  • Talk with your group before beginning to have them all stick together and encourage them to keep up

  • Smile and make eye contact with folks watching the parade

  • Most importantly, have fun!!

End of Parade

  • All participants with wheels (vehicles, buses, trolleys, scooters, etc) will continue and turn right on 2nd Ave

    • All riders will wait until the vehicle is stopped

    • If no one is exiting the vehicle, it may continue towards exit

  • Marchers will turn left onto 2nd Ave

  • Please encourage your group to stay and cheer on the rest of the parade

  • If you have any trash items (such as balloons, excess parade giveaways, cardboard, bottles, wrappers) please ensure these are placed in the proper trash receptacle or take the items with you. Please do not leave these on the street or sidewalk - any groups found to fail to comply will not be accepted for future participation.

Weather/Emergencies

  • Parade will go rain or shine

  • Alerts will be communicated through social media channels

  • First aid and medical staff will be on site at the festival and along the parade route.
